Sustainability
Pet products generate a surprising amount of waste — plastic pouches, imported freight, novelty toys that last a week. We cannot fix all of it, so we are honest about what we are doing and what we are not.
What we do
Source locally where we can
Most of what we stock is made in South Africa. Local production cuts freight emissions and gets fresher stock to you faster.
Favour whole-animal use
Single-ingredient dehydrated chews use cuts that would otherwise be discarded — trachea, ears, tendon, lung. Using more of an animal that has already been farmed is one of the more meaningful things a pet brand can do.
Prefer natural, durable materials
Natural fibre over synthetic where a natural option performs. A bed that lasts five years beats three cheap ones, for your wallet and for landfill.
Right-size the packaging
We ship in boxes that fit, with paper fill where possible, and we do not add promotional inserts that go straight into the bin.
What we have not solved yet
Some product packaging is still plastic laminate, because it is what keeps dehydrated product shelf-stable without preservatives. We are working with suppliers on recyclable mono-material alternatives, and we will say so here when it changes.
Shop the range that reflects this best: Dehydrated single-ingredient treats.
