❄️ Frozen delivery: Cape Town metro & surrounds

This is a frozen product, so we deliver it only where we can guarantee it stays frozen all the way to your door: across the Cape Town metro and northern suburbs, up the West Coast as far as Melkbosstrand, and along the False Bay side as far as Somerset West. We're expanding this zone as our cold-chain logistics grow — we won't ship it until we can keep it frozen.

Outside our frozen delivery zone? Our Pets Elite Dehydrated Raw is the same raw nutrition with no freezing or defrosting, and we deliver it nationwide.

Real raw. Three adult recipes, plus one for puppies. No compromise.

The Pets Elite All-in-One Mince is a complete raw meal built on your dog's ancestral diet — not processed, not cooked, not a combination diet, and no grain. Three everyday recipes for adult dogs, plus a purpose-made recipe formulated for growing puppies. Pick the one that suits your dog, or rotate between the three adult recipes.

Supplied frozen in 500 g packs. Pull one out, defrost, serve.

Three recipes for adult dogs

  • Original (pork & beef) — the base formula. A natural, highly nutritious everyday meal in line with your dog's ancestral diet.
  • Beef (pork-free) — the original formula with the pork removed, for pork-free households.
  • Fish — the original formula with added fish.

And a recipe for puppies

  • Puppy (Growing Needs) — not a flavour but a life-stage recipe, formulated for the extra nutritional requirements of growing puppies.

What's in it

  • Various animal meats — beef, pork and lamb (no pork in the Beef recipe)
  • Ground bone
  • Green/black tripe
  • Organ meats (liver, heart, lung)

No additives, no grain, no gluten, no sugar, no added salt. The cut of meat matters more than the type of meat, which is why the recipes are built around quality cuts rather than a single protein.

Why owners switch to raw

  • Pure meat, no fillers added — grain-, gluten- and sugar-free
  • No added salt
  • A complete staple diet — fed on its own as the whole meal
  • An everyday raw meal for adult and senior dogs, with a dedicated Puppy (Growing Needs) recipe for growing puppies
  • 500 g packs — portion without hacking at a frozen block
  • Locally manufactured in South Africa

How much to feed

Dog's weight Daily amount Packs per day
5 kg 50 – 150 g ¼ pack
10 kg 100 – 300 g ½ pack
20 kg 200 – 600 g ½ – 1 pack
30 kg 300 – 900 g 1 – 2 packs
40 kg 400 – 1 200 g 1 – 2 packs

Adults: 100–300 g per 10 kg of body weight daily.
Puppies: 50–100 g per 1 kg of body weight daily.

The range is wide on purpose — metabolism, age and exercise all move the number. Start in the middle and adjust on body condition. A dog on raw will naturally eat more on some days, less on others, and may skip a day entirely. That's normal.

Which pack size?

Choose the box size that fits your freezer and your feeding rate. A 20 kg dog gets through roughly one 500 g pack a day, so a 3 kg box is about six days' feeding and a 12 kg box about three and a half weeks. Freezer space is usually the deciding factor.

Switching over

Change food over gradually across seven to ten days. Don't mix it with grain-based or other carbohydrate foods. Feed it as the staple diet on its own.

Storage

Keep frozen. Defrost a pack in the fridge overnight and serve. Once defrosted, treat it like any fresh raw meat — keep refrigerated and use within a couple of days.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver outside Cape Town?
For the frozen range we deliver across the Cape Town metro and northern suburbs, up the West Coast as far as Melkbosstrand, and along the False Bay side as far as Somerset West. We only deliver frozen where we can keep the cold chain intact — we'd rather not ship it than risk it arriving thawed. Our Dehydrated Raw range delivers nationwide.

What's the difference between Original and Beef?
Original is a pork and beef mix. Beef is the same formula with the pork removed, for pork-free households.

Is the Puppy one a flavour?
No — Puppy (Growing Needs) is a life-stage recipe, formulated for the extra nutritional needs of growing puppies rather than being a protein flavour like Original, Beef or Fish.

Can I rotate between recipes?
Yes. The Original, Beef and Fish recipes each have a slightly different nutritional focus, so alternating between them is a good way to vary an adult dog's diet. The Puppy (Growing Needs) recipe is formulated specifically for growing puppies.

How many packs will my dog get through?
Roughly one 500 g pack a day for a 20 kg dog, half a pack for a 10 kg dog.

Do I need the Puppy recipe for a puppy?
Yes — the Puppy (Growing Needs) recipe is formulated specifically for a growing puppy's requirements. Feed puppies 50–100 g per 1 kg of body weight daily.

How do I defrost it?
In the fridge overnight — not at room temperature, and not in the microwave.
