Why we stock it
The same beef neck sinew as the Beef Plait, left flat instead of plaited. Flat means faster — a dog gets through one in a fraction of the time — so this is the everyday version and the Plait is the one for a longer session. Sinew is one of the cleaner-smelling things in the range, which matters if the pork rind aroma has been a problem at home. The limitation is obvious once you buy them: a determined chewer will finish one in a couple of minutes, and at that point you are buying volume rather than occupation.
What it is
Beef neck sinew, dried into flat strips. Available small in packs of ten, or large in packs of three or ten. Rates 3 to 4 on the Pets Elite chewyness scale — medium hard to hard. Natural size variation applies.
Ingredients
Beef (neck sinew), vinegar.
Vinegar is used during dehydration as a natural preservative. No grain, no added salt or sugar, no colourants or flavourants.
Feeding and use
Give under supervision, with fresh water alongside. Take it away once it is small enough to swallow whole. Chews and treats should stay under about 10% of what your dog eats in a day.
