Pets Elite Canneloni
Why we stock it
The outer layer is beef esophagus, not biltong — earlier versions of this listing said biltong and were wrong. Pets Elite corrected it directly. Esophagus is a muscular tube, so it gives a chewier outer than a dried meat strip would, with a softer sausage core inside. At 2 to 3 on the chewyness scale it is a treat rather than an occupier.
What it is
Pets Elite dried sausage rolled inside a wrap of beef esophagus, into a cylinder about 110mm long and 20mm wide. Five to a pack. Rates 2 to 3 on the Pets Elite chewyness scale — soft to medium hard.
Ingredients
Beef esophagus, pork, vinegar.
Official ingredient line supplied by Pets Elite, replacing an earlier version that described the outer layer as beef biltong. Vinegar is used during dehydration as a natural preservative. No grain, no added salt or sugar, no colourants or flavourants.
Feeding and use
Give under supervision, with fresh water alongside. Take it away once it is small enough to swallow whole. Chews and treats should stay under about 10% of what your dog eats in a day.
