Why we stock it
Worth being straight about this one: unlike almost everything else Pets Elite make, Minties contain added peppermint essence and a natural green colourant. The peppermint is there for breath and the colour is cosmetic. If you buy this range specifically because the ingredient lists are two lines long, this is the exception and you should know that before you add it to the basket.
What it is
A hard chew made from pork collagen, flavoured with peppermint essence and coloured with a natural green dye. Available at 160g or 170g. Rates 4 of 5 on the Pets Elite chewyness scale — hard.
Ingredients
Pork collagen, vinegar, peppermint essence, green food dye (natural).
This product contains a colourant and a flavouring. Most of the Pets Elite range does not, and we would rather say so here than let the range boilerplate imply otherwise.
Feeding and use
Give under supervision, with fresh water alongside. Take it away once it is small enough to swallow whole. Chews and treats should stay under about 10% of what your dog eats in a day.

Hard chews can fracture teeth. Not for a dog with existing dental damage.
