Pets Elite Natural Hide Koeksister
Why we stock it
The pleating does real work — it creates ridges and folds a dog has to work into, which drags out the chew and gives you somewhere to put peanut butter if you want to make it last longer still. Four to a pack at around 300g total. Sold by unit rather than weight, so the pack weight moves a little either way.
What it is
Real pork rind, pleated into the koeksister shape and dried. Each piece is about 25cm long, four to a pack, roughly 300g in total. Rates 3 to 4 on the Pets Elite chewyness scale. Sold by unit, not by weight.
Ingredients
Pork (rind/skin), vinegar.
Vinegar is used during dehydration as a natural preservative. No grain, no added salt or sugar, no colourants or flavourants.
Feeding and use
Give under supervision, with fresh water alongside. Take it away once it is small enough to swallow whole. Chews and treats should stay under about 10% of what your dog eats in a day.
